So in conclusion, yes, Canaan has a soul, even if it's a funny, kind of plasticky-smelling soul, and yes, he IS Program Canaan's bitch, no matter how much he hates it.

Unlike with Wilhelm, there will be no major changes to my playing of this character based on the information I have uncovered! Since. Everything is pretty much the way I thought it was. Heh. XD

(Also, I realized that I can now download the Xenosaga FMVs with Canaan in and take my own damn screencaps for icons since, dur, no longer on dialup, so I may be overhauling at some point, or at least replacing the blurriest ones. But not right now. Right now it is 2:30 am and I need to sleep before I pass out on my keyboard.)

EDIT now that I am properly awake: . . . going through the opening FMV for Xenosaga II just made me laugh. Because Canaan is fastening up his flightsuit at the start of it! And from behind, you watch him bring his hands up to his throat and make motions like he's doing buttons and straps and shit.

But then you see him from the font and he's still unzipped a quarter of the way down his chest. Fail, Xenosaga, faaaiiiiil.

Here is how it works. Today is October 22nd. I am posting a relationship meme. The catch is, you have to comment to it asking about a relationship we don't have yet. Either the characters haven't threaded or they've threaded like once.

On November 22nd I will reply to the meme. That means we have a month to try and actually create that relationship. THIS POST IS LIKE MY VOW THAT I WILL THREAD WITH YOU, SOMEHOW, IN THE NEXT MONTH, MORE THAN ONCE. Obviously sometimes characters don't click and that's cool! We can move on! But the attempt will be made, and then a month from today you'll have a relationship meme response waiting for you.

Since I have a very hard time with keeping up with CFUD due to work, I ask that those who comments link me to a thread with the character they want me to thread with some time during this month, please? Otherwise I may miss that character being out and about. But I'd love to get my activity up a little and make some new relationships for my boys, so if you've ever wanted to play with either, this is a good chance!!!

Canaan: Organic android. The tsun is strong in this one. More than a bit of a wet blanket, but he's got a good heart.

Zhu Irzh: Demon lothario with an unfortunate penchant for do-gooding. See visibility thing! Though also note that I'm not strict about the rules at all SEE RULE #4 MAN.

Also, despite the text, feel free to comment if we already have a relationship and you just want me to tag you somewhere, dudes. I doubt I'll get enough takers that it'd be hard to get to everyone, so.

In terms of progression, it goes red --> blue --> yellow --> pink, with 1-5 dots signifying how close you are to moving to the next level. The base colour varies depending on the character. IT'S SUBJECTIVE and pretty. And if you get anything in the pink range, chances are, they either love you madly, consider you an incredibly important nakama, or want in your pants. Or all of the above!

I play Canaan and Zhu Irzh, but Zhu Irzh doesn't really have any relationships yet. o/ Must get him out more. Still if you've met him and want to know where you're at to start from, feel free? XD

So in Xenosaga, there are these things called E.S. - they're mecha, and they're powered by the Anima Relics. See icon! Only someone who 'resonates with Anima' can activate one. Those who resonate with Anima are the reincarnations of previous existences who resonated with Anima. The disciples of Jesus.

Which means I am 99% certain that I am playing the reincarnation of Judas Iscariot. It makes perfect sense with the Xenosaga universe - Realian souls are the same as human souls.

Y-yeah.
